I’ve upgraded the Roundcube webmail client on the Innovarum server to 0.3-stable. This updated version brings a number of minor benefits and user interface improvements.
For more details about Roundcube, check out their website.

About a month ago Christina introduced me to a fabulous social site called DailyBooth. The premise is simple: go to the site once a day and post a picture of yourself… it’s like Twitter with photos. Easy! Well I have been doing just that (and more sometimes!) and having a rather fun time while I do.
One of the interesting things about it, is that it’s very easy to reply to other posts with a picture comment setting the environment up for some entertaining social interplay.
If you’re interested you should check it out and indeed feel free to visit my profile page.
Ta-ta for now.

I recently had a major hard drive failure in my computer, just before I went home to Northern Ireland for Christmas actually. Now, normally I’m pretty good about backing up my files, and have a number of flash drives and external hard drives. Unfortunately, I hadn’t backed up my Outlook PST files with ALL of my client contacts and months of emails… not necessarily a bad thing in some respects! However, if only I’d had this handy piece of software, it would have saved me a lot of hassle.

Bond No. 9 is now officially open. This exciting new Champage lounge bar is located on the Shore in Leith, on the Commercial Quay and promises to bring an additional edge of glamour and sophistication to an area of Edinburgh that has seen something of a rebirth over the last few years.
OK, OK… I am friends with the owner so arguably I’m biased, but that still shouldn’t take away from the fact that it’s a great bar and an ideal venue for after-work or pre-dinner drinks. Plus, they’ve got some fantastic spirits, some of which you simply won’t find anywhere else in Edinburgh.

So, I have a friend who has a sister – imagine my surprise! – who just happens to be trying very hard to start her music career. To be honest, it’s already begun and she’s doing very well – which I’m not surprised about, because she’s really rather good!
The Secret Boy’s Club EP is her first release, primarily as a demo and also to supplement her touring activities, which have covered a good portion of the UK (although she hasn’t visited the motherland – Northern Ireland for those of you who don’t know where I’m from) and Sweden. My good friend Chris, her brother and my flat mate to be in a couple of weeks I might add, told me that she’s had a great reception from the Swedes and is now writing her very first full album. Yay!
You should definitely look out for this CD and her upcoming album. My personal recommendation is Fearsome Crowd. In fact, you can even hear some of her tracks on her MySpace account. Go there… now… and be happy
